“Everything changed when geothermal came to the region. … I remember the time when the geothermal plant Miravalles was being built. They never approached the population to tell us about the benefits we might have with this power plant. I think we didn’t have enough information; the Government at that time didn’t clarify what was happening. … I know that the geothermal has helped the tourism in the region … but I just wonder if I could be more informed about this source of energy. The only thing that we get is the electricity bill to pay.”
